Rye flour

Rye flour is made by grinding rye, which is a grain in the wheat family. It contains gluten but in lower quantities than wheat and is mainly used to make breads.

Applications.

This flour is mainly used in baking. Bread made with this flour is darker and has a slightly bitter taste. It contains a higher proportion of water and, therefore, lower calorie content.
