Palomero Corn can be consumed as a treat or snack, because although it does not provide many nutrients, it makes a considerable energy contribution and is highly capable of satisfying hunger. It is also the only corn that can burst and still be edible.

Applications.
Cover the bottom of a pot with coconut oil over medium/high heat until very hot. Add the corn kernels, leaving them in a single layer and cover the pot. Leave a small space so that the steam can escape. Once the popcorn starts to pop, lower the temperature to a medium level.
